Versa-Pod Model 50 super short prone

I purchased this bipod 4 months ago and have given it a serious work out. First thing to know is you wont break it. They are solid. I love the thumb screw locks. They aren't a total lock but provide a good amount of resistance that is very helpful in correcting cant in between shots or tracking a moving target with total control . You will notice some slop forward and backward. (15 degrees I believe) and is a great feature. By moving the rifle all the way forward and then leaning into it, It comes to a solid stop and provides a very stable platform. Much more stable than loading up the more common brand of bipod on every second rifle. I bought the model 50 super short Prone and is perfect for the gentle and medium gradient hills where I shoot. I'm not the greatest long rang shooter around but this bipod makes me look a lot better. Some people might not like the heavier weight but I will take the trade off for the stability and durability of the Versa-Pod. For reference mine is on a .308 using 175 grain pills. Just buy the bipod and thank me later. Dan.J
